M Imports was birthed in the depths of the Global Financial Crisis. It was early 2011 and like most organisations at that time, the ZM Network's (yup, the radio station), marketing budget had been slashed. Like really slashed. They had no money to buy anything. 

Upon hearing about this predicament in a marketing brainstorm our illustrious leader (guess who wrote this?), suggested they start looking offshore to source their merchandise and marketing materials like flags and stickers. Following that meeting our leader found himself charged with doing just that. And thus M Imports was born.
